Ladies of the WD Woman’s Club prepared one hundred movable animal “kits” for the children attending the WD LIBRARY BOOK FESTIVAL. Members cut out various parts and pieces of frogs, snakes, and elephants that the children glued together and decorated at our Woman’s Club children’s table. Our members gave three hours each of their time and effort to help with this club service project.

Members also donated straws, plastic bags, glue, paper, and wiggle eyes for this activity. And ten members worked at the Festival, helping children make the crafts.

Our venture was just as popular as it was last year as we brought attention to our club in the West Deptford community and enjoyed the book fair too. Many thanks to Linda Jones, Arts Creative Chairman and First VP, for leading the club in this wonderful service project.
